Years Served: 1969 – 1972…I hit the Billy C. as a deck-ape when she was in dry-dock in Charleston SC. Right next to a coffee plant. I hate coffee and the smell of it makes me sick!!! I left her in April of 1972 as an E5 Sonar technician. If any of you were on board during that time you may remember me as a member on an on-board rock band, named The Lawemen by Lt. Long!!
