Years Served: 1957 to 1959…James ‘Jim’ Jeffryes

Years Served: 1965-1967…like to here from any mm 1965-1967

Years Served: 1968-1969…Would like to hear from those RD’s and ET’s who served from 1968-1969. I am in touch with Tim Sullivan who served then. I am a retired Clinical Laboratory Scientist having spent 15 years employed at the VA Hospital in San Diego and 15 years at the Naval Hospital in San Diego. I live in San Diego, my home town, and turned 60 in 2007. Thank you.

Years Served: 61 – 63…I was in the Navy from 1959 to 1963 and to be quite honest I enjoyed every minute of it. I was on the Hopewell from 61 – 63 and have some very fond memories. I loved being at sea! I made some friends that I am still in touch with on e-mail. I was an ET3 and still work with electronics at times. I would love e-mails from anyone that can remember me or not.

Years Served: 1966-1968…Hopewell was my first introduction to ‘Navy sea life’, Fresh out of Radar A School. Rough going at first-had to acquire my sea-legs. Not Easy for me.
