19, 2007. The Kitty Hawk Carrier Strike Group is participating in exercise Talisman Sabre 

2007. The biennial exercise is designed to train Australian and U.S. forces in planning and 

conducting combined task force operations, which will help improve combat readiness and

Bay before mooring at Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan, Dec. 10, 2006, after 

completing a two-month deployment. Kitty Hawk is returning from participation in exercise 

ANNUALEX 2006. The exercise was a joint training exercise with the Japan Maritime 

Self-Defense Force.<br>December 2006 U.S. Navy Sailors man the rails aboard USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) as the ship enters Truman Bay before mooring at Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan, Dec. 10, 2006, after completing a two-month deployment. Crew members aboard the large harbor tug MENOMINEE (YTB 790) watch from the vessel's 

bow as the large harbor tug WATHENA (YTB 825) approaches the battleship WISCONSIN (BB 64). 

The WISCONSIN, moored at the pier opposite the aircraft carrier USS KITTY HAWK (CV 63), will 

be towed to the Philadelphia Shipyard's Inactive Ship Maintenance Facility. The battleship 

was decommissioned on September 30, 1991.<br>October 1991 Crew members aboard the large harbor tug MENOMINEE (YTB 790) watch from the vessel's bow as the large harbor tug WATHENA (YTB 825) approaches the battleship WISCONSIN (BB 64).
