Years Served: new construction in Pascagoula MS, until 1-24-1969…Joined the ship during construction in Pascagoula, MS. Stayed aboard until seperation 01-25-1969. Watched the North Vietanese sail off in our whale boat after the engine in the junk that was provided would not start. Went to quite a few liberty ports while aboard. Became a shellback during a visit to Singapore.
Years Served: 1975- 1979…Just looking aroung to see if the broken token 8 was still afloat.
Served aboard September 1 1967 to 1969.
