DEG-6 Boston Ship Yards ,Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and the Caribbean. 1970 & 71
Aug. 1967 – July 1968
Served on the Jolly JAF when it was a DEG and FFG. Some great memories. NATO 1974.
I was aboard the J.A. Furer in 1970 when it was a DEG
I made a Med. Cruise and left in 1971. My duty station then was PAMI CONUS in Bainbridge Md. where I served until October of 1972.
I have never forgotten the experience and the friendships I made while on the Furer
