Hey. My dad was the frybarger during ww2. He was a radio man on the ship. Hope someone gets this.
My Dad who served as a Ensign – Lt JG – Lt Comm. on the USS Frybarger from it’s commissioning through it’s Atlantic tour and into the Pacific during WW II, He also served on the USS Bayfield during Korea
He will be turning 97 on 8/28/17 and is still very much active, he lives on his own, drives and shops by himself.
