I was a disbursing clerk from 1964-march 1966 on the macdonough.
So glad they honored Cunningham
For saving the ship in Trieste.
My friends were Micklacher,
Wagner and Blanz of the supply corp on the ship.lam married 43 years and
Have 3 daughters and 3 grandkids.
I enjoyed Rome and Trieste.
I was a Gunnersmate aboard the USS MacDonough DLG 8 from 1964 to 1966.
My husband, Noel M Grenon, served on this ship in 1961 and 1962. Is there anyone out there who served at the same time and do you remember him?

I am a ‘plank owner’ of the USS Macdonough DLG-8, commissioned in Boston, MA on 6 November 1961.
