Years Served: 1974 to 1976…To the FOX, did not know you, but I came aboard just after you and Young was still aboard. Mr. Haney was the navigator (Ens.) and Allen QM2 came on just after me. I remember Walley Gergley and Mark York . . .we played guitars almost every night while underway on the fantail. Skipper (Vanspor) good friend is in Seattle. Bob West and I use to hang while we were at Pearl. I am living in Walnut CA. right now. There are a lot of others that hung around together sorry don’t remember the names. I have been going through pictures and will be sending some to the Goldsborough history site soon . . .lots of faces that have no names, I kept a better QM log then identifing pic’s. Favorite things were playing guitars and hangong out with the guys, shooting stars for a positive location, seeing other countries, and of course going around in circles playing war games in the middle of the Pacific . . .don’t get any better than that . . . anyone remember me feel free to email.
