I served on the Turner Joy 1967 – 1968, Did a Westpac including most of the time off the coast of Vietnam. Fired lots of 5" rounds as naval gun support. Quite an experience on a great ship.

I was on the Turner Joy from 1979 -1981.
It is a grest ship with great guys who served her. I did a south pac and had the time of my life. May GOD bless ALL who serve and protect our country on her ships.
