Just looked at the online pictures of her being sunk. Sort of gives you an errie feeling!
Years Served: 7 JULY 1959—7 JULY 1963…I wasn’t on the Bigelow at any time but sailed with her many times as I serve on the Jonas Ingram, DD-938. A friend of mine served aboard the Bigelow for a time before he got transferred to the J. I. His name was Ernie Carrol and hope he sees this and contacts me. Signed——Wes Madison.

Years Served: Dec.1962 till Aug.1964…Served on the good old USS Bigelow from December,1962 till August 1964,was one of the ships cooks till I got out in 1964.
Years Served: 1973-1974…I served on the Bigelow BTFA 1973-1974
Served as an OS between 1971-73. Did a NATO cruise in 1972.
