My Father was MMCS Sidney Victor Nelson, USN 1945-1969. Retired out of Charleston, USS Richard Krause.
Served on EDD Richard E Krause from 06/1960-08/1962. Best crew and lucky that no war was going on.
Served onboard from 1969 till 1971. Leading RM was RM1 Jim Wiese. One heck of a Radio Gang. Had
a lot of good times. Most memorable time was when we got sent to Viet Nam. Hello to all you guys.
