Firts ship, main control (fwd eng rm) 35 knots no smoke fond memories

This was the best command for me in my 21 yrs of active service. Changed rate to HT in 74…retired HTC in 91.

Years Served: 1972-1975…I would like to hear from anyone who served during this time.

Thanks for remembering!!!… I was transferred from the good ship USS BROWN DD 546 in 1960, The BAUSELL was going to the Ship Yard in Bremerton Washington. We got to take our family with us and we made some life time friends while there. I was a deck seaman and chipped lots of paint.
