Years Served: Aug ’71 to Apr ’74…Served in OE Div. Worked on ECM gear. It was quite an experience. I met a lot of great guys.

Years Served: 71-73…The forward deployment will always be in my mind. The six week ASW exercise ending in the IO, less then 30% of our time in any port, freedom train. Good Times? Memories anyway. Fair winds and following seas to all.

Years Served: 1973- April 1975…Dear sir I arrived onboard the Richard B. Anderson I think It was March of 1973 and I transferred to NAS Corpus Christi TX in April of 1975 The cooks there at the time I left were ms3 Seredes I served with CSSA Bennett, CSSN Ken Prue, there was a CS2 Dough Frell there at that time also. We had just went through rough training and then I left. for shore duty

Years Served: 64-66…After discharge, returned home to Colorado. Raised a family, Am now retired from Post office, currently director of retirees NALC. Colo. Play golf & fish a lot. Anyone remembering who I am and coming thru Colo, Stop say Hello and have a BEER. Have had 2 buddies stop by last 2 years Wyatt Dodd (ET) and Frank Hardage ( RD ) am currently trying to make time to do a ships reunion. Someday soon

Years Served: Father served between 1943-45…My father’s name was Jules Perry. He was from New Orleans and served in WWII in the Pacific sometime between 1943-45; I am not sure when. If anyone had a father/grandfather who may have served during that time I would be interested to speak to you. I am seeking any pictures of the ship or shipmates my father may have had. This is just natural curiosity on my part I suppose. Let me say I am proud of all of you who have served our country and I thank you.
