Years Served: MARCH 1962 to SEPTEMBER 1983…I served onboard A.A. Cunningham from 3/27/66 to 4/11/69. I reported onboard as a SM3 and left as SM2, transfered to the USS John Paul Jones DDG-32.

Years Served: …My father, Captain Dan M. Chrisman, who served on the USS AA Cunningham from 1950-52 recently passed away. I know that he had fond memories of his time aboard the Cunningham and had attended several of the ship’s reunions. He is interred in the DFW National Cemetery.

Years Served: …Sad to report that Charles Dutch Weitz, HMC 1950-1954 passed away on February 5, 2009 at the age of 86 in Washington, DC. He will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery (Section 12, Grave 7951).
