Years Served: 1965-1967…Hello. My name is Linda Thompson. My husband Bruce Young Thompson passed away on January 27, 2009. He had been attending the Knox reunions and we had just attended the reunion in Milwaukee, Wisconsin this past September. We had a great time. I wanted all his shipmates and friends to know that there will be a Memorial Service to Celebrate His Life. It will be on Thursday June 18th at 2:00 pm in Myrtle Beach SC. On Friday the 19, there will be a burial at sea. If you would like to attend, please contact me at 843-236-6970 or 843-997-5213 and I will be happy to send you information. You may email me at jdunlap8@sc.rr.com also. Bruce and I really enjoyed meeting all of you at the reunions and he always spoke so well of his time spent on the Knox. Take care and I hope to see you soon. Linda
