Loved that ship. Best crew and times…even though half the ship was painted pink. Anyone remember? How about when Murphy locked up Ens. Jones in machine shop and of course, THE storm.

Served on board the USS Gyatt DD-712 as a Machinist Mate from 1963-1966. Had some great times.

Served 59 -62 meet great friends and good times

Served aboard as a CS3&CS2. 61/63. Many fond memories from a couple of Med Cruises and great shipmates. Made the Navy a career and retired in 1981 as a CW0-4 Supply Corps Officer. Surprised myself and probably anyone that knew me at that time that see this post. Work hard and play hard was the name of the game.
