Years Served: 1967/1968…really enjoyed my tour on this ship. i think every time my time on this ship is discussrd,the telling of the storm of 68 always comes up.

Served in the first Division on the Gyatt 1959 thru 1962 and left as a BM3. She was a wonderful ship with a great crew. Hope she is resting well on the floor of the Atlantic where she served out country so well.

Served aboard as a CS3&CS2. 61/63. Many fond memories from a couple of Med Cruises and great shipmates. Made the Navy a career and retired in 1981 as a CW0-4 Supply Corps Officer. Surprised myself and probably anyone that knew me at that time that see this post. Work hard and play hard was the name of the game.
