Years Served: 1944-1946…Greetings to all fellow shipmates.I often wonder how many of the old timers are still able to look at the GREEN GRASS and not the roots. I am ever GRATEFUL to my GOOD LORD that I can see the grass,but soon the snow.I’m now (in two months) to reach (88) years. How I so often look back at the time served aboard that good old ship,(Ever so proud of HER and fellow crew) and to thank GOD for HIS protection over our ship & crew, thru all she & crew went thru. Trust all remaining OLD Crew members & YOUR KIDS of the succeeding crew.Wishing you well, and GODS BLESSING
