My brother Kenneth E Granger was on the ship. He had tours of duty in Vietnam and the Mayaguez incident with Cambodia after pulling out of Vietnam May 1975. I remember the pull out.. Choppers were landing on the USS Coral Sea CVA 43 flight deck with passengers evacuated from the U.S. Embassy in Siagon, Vietnam. I remember hearing this news & Kenny was on the USS Coral Sea as an aviation electronics tech. He spent lots of time in Whidbey Island, Washington Naval Base too. He passed away in 2015. Loved him and hearing the navy stories.

Served on the Coral Maru 69-71. Saw one of my shipmates names as I was Scrolling down the list. Would like to touch base with Vic Doepke. We served on her together. Lots of Friends and good Memories on the Coral Sea. CVA 43
