I was on board the Bole 1963 to 1966 Became lead TM in the ASW hanger guys I’m still alive and kicking ,living in Bonita Springs Fl I remember how fast the Bole was with that thin hull ,that is why she ronautent on station for the Mercury astronaut recovery. I’m glad I served on her before going to the Thomason which was the FLAG. They worked me hard over there but always loved the Bole. Bob DiGilarmo TM 2nd class.
